Campus Crusade Witnessing Traning Aug 24th 2007
Date: 24th of August 5pm to the 25th of August Noon (Friday and Saturday)
Location: Lake Bowen, Spartanburg
Meeting: We will meet at McDonald's at 5 p.m. on Highway 9.
Costs: five dollars per person, includes room, and two meals. bring your own sleeping backs.
Why should I go?
First of all, I must say that if you are a believer, you should know
that Christ has asked us to share in the witnesses to other people
about Jesus Christ and his love.perhaps you wish you could do it, or
perhaps you have tried doing so without much success.well perhaps you
need some training someone to show you how to tell someone using your
own style but yet focused on using God's Word and prayer.
Well now you get the opportunity to role-play and practice how to
witness to your friends and family. Campus Crusade has organized this
program that includes students leaders of other campuses in South
Carolina. Hence, you will get the opportunity to rub shoulders share
experiences with other like-minded Christians in one location. The
price of course is unbeatable!

I am so excited and
overwhelmed at thinking about this semester starting!! Excited to see you,
spend time with you and see God move in mighty ways!! Overwhelmed at how huge
our opportunity is to glorify God among the 55,000 students across the
upstate.
This is the first of
3 quick emails to you today.
Our Leaders' retreat
is coming up next weekend on Friday Aug. 24- sat. 25th.We will meet at the
McDonald's on hwy. 9 at I-85 at 5pm for a quick supper and then on to the Lake
house on Lake Bowen. It is only 15 minutes away. Girls will sleep at the lake
house. Guys will sleep in the playroom at the Lancasters' which is only 10
minutes away from the lake house.
Cost will be $5,
still the same for the past 4 years. Will include snacks, materials, Sat.
breakfast & Lunch. We will be done after lunch on Saturday. Bring your
bathing suit if you want to swim Sat. afternoon.
HELP!! We have some responsibilities
that need to be filled:
*We need
a couple of people to be in charge of games for Friday night,
*a few
to handle Breakfast,
*a few
more to handle Lunch, and
*a few
to organize cleaning the lake house on Saturday.
